It's That Time Again Gi ~ Vintage salvaged soft cotton Japanese #keikogi jacket reworked with a patchwork feed sack snake appliqué that wraps around the body acting as a guardian and symbolizing healing, harmony, and regeneration.
Snake was constructed by us using 1930s feed sack quilt fabric. Various patches throughout, including a 1960s hand illustrated “it’s that time again” quilt block by Flavia Weedn, antique hand embroidered pansies and vegetables, 1950s rice sack and 1930s flour bag typography .
