We're honored to present you with this incredible 1930s-1940s huipil ensemble. The huipil is a traditional garment worn by the indigenous women of central Mexico to central America- still worn and cherished today.
Stunning and rare teal silk satin with colorful silk thread floral embroidery. Both top is backed with white cotton burlap. Full skirt with lace hem. Hook and eye closure at waist. Hand-loomed work of art.
This is a very special piece that we hope goes to a good home. Please contact us if you're a collector or museum curator and would like any additional information.
